I found a website called Alley Cat Allies that has some very helpful information regarding feral cats. A lot of these articles are very helpful and we should educate ourselves for our own cat colony.

The Cat Shack

The Cat Shack is a no-kill, non-profit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt cat rescue organization. They attempt to find permanent homes for stray and unwanted cats and kittens.

The Cat Shack has been very generous in lending us all the traps and cages used in this project. They have also supplied us with numerous bags of dry food, several bags of litter and medicine for the sick kittens with upper respiratory infections.

A special thank you goes out to The Cat Shack for answering all of our questions and providing help with transporting these cats to NNN.

Our Story...

Our cat colony needs your help. Year after year these cats continue to populate to the point where it is now out of control with roughly 20+ cats living in the woods/parking lot near a very busy road and railroad tracks in Allentown, PA. We are gathering a team of volunteers to help trap, neuter, and release the adult cats and find foster homes for the kittens.

We would like to trap ALL of the cats and have them spayed, neutered and given rabies shots at No Nonsense Neutering in Allentown, PA. The adult cats will have their ears tipped and released either back to the area they are currently in or if we can relocate them to a barn somewhere. The kittens will be placed into foster homes where they can be adopted by a loving family.
